With APEC approval, the Sports Administration (SA) annually hosts the 2024 ASPN Round Table Meeting through the APEC Sports Policy Network (ASPN) platform. A recent roundtable meeting took place in Taiwan on February 27th, followed by visits to the Taipei Dome and the Organizing Committee of the World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei City (WMG2025 OC) on the 28th.
The Future Harbor Forum “See the Future” held today (November 28th) by TIPC drew a large number of domestic and international digital technology and green wind power developers and vendors as well as VIP attendees such as Minister without Portfolio of Executive Yuan Tzi-chin Chang, Minister of Transportation and Communications Kwo-tsai Wang, and Finland Trade Center in Taiwan Deputy Director Jere Tala.

At Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, Premier Chen Chien-jen received a briefing from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Development Council on Taiwan’s participation in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings. The 2023 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM), hosted by the United States, concluded at noon on November 17 (local time). Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) founder and Leader’s Representative Dr. Morris Chang (張忠謀) participated in the full meeting and conveyed Taiwan’s ideas and positions, successfully completing his mission for the AELM.
On the evening of November 14, ahead of his departure for the United States to attend the 2023 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) from November 15 to 17 in San Francisco, APEC Leader’s Representative Dr. Morris Chang (張忠謀) delivered remarks on his trip.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) stated that the 2023 APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting is held in San Francisco, the United States, from November 10 to 13. The Finance Minister Ms. Tsui-Yun Chuang and the Vice Chairperson of Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) Ms. Tsuey-Lin Hsiao lead a delegation of officials from the MOF, FSC, and the Central Bank, to the Meeting.
On the morning of November 10, President Tsai Ing-wen attended a press conference before Taiwan’s delegation departs for the 2023 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM), which will be held in San Francisco from November 15 to 17. In remarks, President Tsai thanked Dr. Morris Chang (張忠謀), founder of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), for acting as our Leader’s Representative to the meeting for the sixth time to date.
To promote cross-regional education cooperation and strengthen post-pandemic economic recovery, the “2023 APEC Youth Impact Forum” initiated by the Ministry of Education (MOE) takes place from 25-27 October. More than 70 young people are invited from 16 APEC member economies as well as the Republic of China (R.O.C., Taiwan) to participate in this important three-day event.
