Babu Rathinam called on Director-General of TECC in Chennai, Mr. Charles Li, to discuss about the possible long-term collaboration and exchange relations with educational institutes and other organizations in Taiwan.

On Tuesday, 19 March 2019, Tamil Nadu film producer Mr. AVM K. Shanmugam, Secretary of AVM Rajeswari Educational Trust, Correspondent of Avichi College of Arts and Science and Major Dr. I. Babu Rathinam, Principal called on Director-General of TECC in Chennai, Mr. Charles Li, to discuss about the possible long-term collaboration and exchange relations with educational institutes and other organizations in Taiwan.
Avichi College of Arts and Science is a newly emerged educational institute in Chennai and is a part of AVM Rajeswari Educational Trust which incorporates Avichi Higher Secondary schools (separate Boys and Girls school) and AVM Rajeswari Matriculation Higher Secondary school. The trust was founded and has been administering by the prominent members of the AVM family as its Trustees. The main aim of this trust is to render quality education to the under privileged students in the society.
The college has committed to educate and enrich knowledge, skills and values to the students for their holistic development and empower them to contribute and create a better world. This co-educational college, affiliated to the University of Madras, Chennai, provides good infrastructure facilities, Hi-Tech laboratories, and potential faculty members and includes various departments such as Departments of Tamil, English, Commerce, Corporate Secretaryship, Visual Communication, Physical Education and Library.
DG Charles Li has extended his support and appreciations and promised to facilitate exchanges and cooperation with relevant universities in Taiwan.
