Mr. Charles Li, Director-General of TECC in Chennai was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the 2019 India-Taiwan University Vice-Chancellors/Presidents/Directors Forum with the theme of “A Better Higher Education: Internationalization, Quality Assurance and Employability” held at the NIT-Warangal, Telangana on June 22, 2019. He also witnessed the signing ceremony of an MOU between AIU and FICHET. After two sessions of presentation and Round Table discussions, MOUs signing ceremony between Universities/Institutes/Colleges from India and Taiwan took place symbolizing further enhancement of higher education collaboration between the two countries.

The Taiwanese Delegation was led by Dr. Andy Cheu-An Bi, Director General of the Department of International and Cross-strait Education, Ministry of Education, R.O.C.
