Taiwan Tech Startups’ Great Success at Innovfest Unbound 2019

Under the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA) led 28 startups that have some of the best minds in AI, IoT, Healthcare, software and advanced manufacture. By showcasing their innovative tech solutions in Innovfest Unbound 2019, those startups not only caught media’s attention but also have potential collaborations with international companies. Overall, TTA startups have won 21 million USD equivalent orders in total.


Bovia provides mobile video and cloud service solutions; the solutions had already been widely implemented in several law enforcement agencies. It is estimated that the company will have further cooperation with strategic partner in Singapore and look forward to having 20 million USD revenue in the following fourth quarter.


NADI System Corp announced an order of 1 million USD with local partner. The product, IRIS TM, is a next generation IoT management system to solve the key operational problems faced by operators of airports, smart cities, data centers, and other critical facilities, saving management costs.


By applying IoT, 3drens collects data from vehicles and get useful information from them, it can further help the mobility industries, such as logistics, vehicle rental companies, etc. manage assets and optimize operations. 3drens had signed 3 MOUs with relevant companies from Singapore and Malaysia, and further wins an order equivalent to 0.2 million USD.


eTreego is an electric vehicle control module design company, it develops electric vehicle control systems that cover charging systems, motor control systems, and vehicle control systems. eTreego has caught attentions from Royal Dutch Shell, one of the world’s largest oil & gas companies, and looks forward to applying its technology and solutions in Singapore.


Based on AI application, SHOWHUE’s solution enhances shopping experience and establishes a deeper impression in customers’ mind by analyzing consumers’ features in visions. SHOWHUE had won an order from an Indonesian department store, and will apply its system in near future.


Turning to winning awards during the InnovFest Unbound 2019, TTA startups also caught juries’ attentions. LuggAgent won “Unbound 50” (the best 50 startups in the event). LuggAgent provides a travel platform with the objective to connect all stakeholders in travel industries. On the other hand, Yallvend had won “Unilever Pitch Battle TOP 20”. Yallvend provides a 6 minute solution for vender machine distributors to boost sales via mobile payment and enhance management by e-record or cloud.
