Leaving Taiwan out of epidemic prevention downright ludicrous: Indian media

Rudroneel Ghosh, senior editor with The Times of India, commented on his blog on Feb. 1 that although now sharing information about Wuhan Coronavirus and coordinating containment efforts are of utmost importance, Taiwan is still being left out of the loop and it is “downright ludicrous”.
Noting Taiwan is not allowed to participate in the World Health Organization meetings because of China’s insistence on “One China” principle, Mr. Ghosh said this is no time for politics and called on China to demonstrate the spirit of cooperation with all, particularly in emergency situation, if it wishes to be a great power.
