Taiwan temporary travel ban for PRC passport holders amid COVID-19 pandemic

All PRC Chinese, Hong Kong and Macau Passport holders are banned from entering Taiwan except for Taiwan nationals' spouses. All applications for visiting Taiwan with the purposes of tourism, social and professional exchanges or medical services will not be accepted until further notice. Those who have been granted permits should postpone their travel to Taiwan. Those who have been granted entrance to Taiwan for the purposes of sharing research on epidemics, providing humanitarian medical services, family reunions, professional postings to Taiwan-based firms, or working in the invest and management sector (including accompanying persons) should undergo self-quarantine for 14 days.
From 00:00 AM 27 January, all PRC Passport holders living overseas are banned from entering Taiwan for tourism purpose amid COVID-19 pandemic. All aforesaid applications for visiting Taiwan with the purposes of tourism will NOT be accepted as well until further notice.
