The Republic of China(Taiwan) implements visa control and entry restriction measures to respond the Novel Coronavirus

To respond to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, and to actively participating in the international epidemic prevention efforts, with the aim of safeguarding the health of foreign nationals and the general public in Taiwan, the government of the Republic of China(Taiwan) has implemented entry restriction and visa control measures on foreign nationals starting from February 7, 2020.
For foreign nationals who have visited or resided anywhere in the People's Republic of China(PRC), including Hong Kong and Macao within the past 14 days, may not enter Taiwan even if eligible for visa-free, landing visa, or e-visa treatment or if in possession of a valid visa.
