On April 27, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported an average of 99 new confirmed domestic cases of COVID-19 (with complications) per day from April 21 to 27 after relaxed epidemic prevention measures became effective on March 20. This average of new cases per day was slightly higher than the daily average of 93 cases in the previous week (April 14 to 20).

On April 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that the severity of COVID-19 decreased, the domestic coronavirus situation continued to be stable, and infections remained at a low point. Additionally, the international community has moved towards downgrading COVID-19 response to a lower emergency level. On April 20, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported an average of 93 new confirmed domestic cases of COVID-19 (with complications) per day from April 14 to 20 after relaxed epidemic prevention measures became effective on March 20. This average of new cases per day was slightly higher than the daily average of 86 cases in the previous week (April 8 to 13).

On April 13, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported an average of 86 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 (with complications) per day from April 8 to April 13 after relaxed epidemic prevention measures became effective on March 20. This average of new cases per day was nearly the same as the daily average of 84 cases in the previous seven days (March 31 to April 7).

On April 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported an average of 85 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 (with complications) per day from March 31 to April 7 after relaxed epidemic prevention measures became effective on March 20. This average of moderate to severe cases per day was slightly lower than the daily average of 96 cases in the previous seven days (March 24-30).

On March 30, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported an average of 96 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 (with complications) per day from March 24 to 30 after relaxed epidemic prevention measures became effective on March 20. This average of moderate to severe cases per day was slightly lower than the daily average of 119 cases in the month prior to the implementation of the new epidemic prevention scheme. Also, there were three new imported cases.

On March 23, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported an average of 109 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 (complications) per day from March 21 to 23, a time period after relaxed epidemic prevention measures became effective on March 20. All of these cases were domestic. This average number of moderate to severe cases per day was slightly lower than the daily average of 119 cases in the month prior to the implementation of the new epidemic prevention scheme.

On March 16, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced an average of 8,959 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) per day over the last week (March 10-16). Of these confirmed cases, 8,804 were domestic and 155 were imported. The CECC also reported an average of 41 deaths per day in the last week. There is a downward trend in the number of confirmed cases compared to the previous week.
