The Australian 2020 National Multicultural Festival took place on 21-23 February in Canberra. The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Australia (TECO) held an information stall on Saturday 22 February to raise the profile of Taiwan’s abundant culture, quality education, tourist attractions, and working holiday program.
TECO and TACA Mandarin Language School collaboratively held decorative knots demonstrations, which attracted a good number of the festival-goers to learn how to make their favourite decorative knots. Several alumni of Taiwan universities also visited the stall to share their pleasant experiences of study and cultural exchange in Taiwan and to celebrate the multicultural vibe and lasting friendship.
