The Indonesian government has banned foreigners from entering or entering Indonesia starting on 2 April 00:00 in response to the corona virus.
At present, foreigners who can still enter Indonesia are limited to those who already have an Indonesian Residence Permit (ITAS), Permanent Residence Permit (ITAP), Diplomatic Visa / Diplomatic Residence Permit, Official Visa / Official Residence Permit, and members of the ground transportation crew , sea and air.
Foreign nationals mentioned above, are required to prepare the following documents upon entry because of the need to prevent the spread of the corona virus:
1. Have an English health certificate issued by medical institutions from various countries respectively (need to prove that there are no symptoms of the corona virus and are issued within 7 days before departure).
2. Submit a declaration of willingness to cooperate with the Indonesian government for self-isolation for 14 days.
3. Never lived in a country or region of a severe corona virus epidemic in the last 14 days.
The Indonesian government has not yet announced the isolation measures above and methods of implementation and acceptance from countries with severe virus epidemics, please contact the Indonesian immigration office for more information.
In addition, the Indonesian government also announced that foreigners who are already in Indonesia, and have visas (including visa waiver and entry visa on arrival) or holders of Indonesian residence permits or permanent residence permits (ITAS / ITAP), if the period of stay has expired, including those who cannot extend their stay in accordance with existing regulations, the period of stay will be extended automatically and free of charge and there is no need to make an application to the immigration office.
