VISA SERVICES DURING COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDAMIC
In response to significant challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in Chennai accept the visa application for reasons other than tourism and regular social visits from June. 29.
For applicants who require to apply for the visa, please note the following points:
- Fill up the application form and prepare the documents required( https://www.roc-taiwan.org/inmaa_en/post/1299.html). Due to the uncertainty of international flights schedule in India, applicants do not need to provide the confirmed flight tickets during the pandemic period.
- Submit the hard copy documents to TECC office in Chennai during weekdays from 09:00-11:30 am. To maintain the principle of zero contact, please place the documents to the box on the ground floor of TECC in Chennai.
- The visa application will only be accepted by payment via demand draft(D.D.).
- The consular officer will contact the applicants if there is a need to provide additional documents or to collect the passport with issued visa.
- STUDY VISA: Besides the required documents in the above-mentioned link, every study visa applicants should enclose the copy of admission document number(10 digit, first 3 digit commence by: 109) of Ministry of Education in which the applicant is on the list. Only applicant on the list is eligible to apply for Special Permit.
