During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the Central Disaster Response Center for African Swine Fever in Taiwan urges all people going to Taiwan not to bring meaty mooncakes into Taiwan, or cross-border online purchases of meaty mooncakes to Taiwan. According to the Central Disaster Response Center for African Swine Fever in Taiwan, every Mid-Autumn Festival is a high-risk period for importing illegal meat-containing mooncakes from abroad, and African swine fever continues to occur in Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam, and mainland China. Recently, Germany has also become an epidemic area, and it is obvious that the epidemic has not stopped. The Central Disaster Response Center urged everyone to prevent the epidemic, not to buy mooncakes containing meat from overseas from unknown sources on the Internet and send them to Taiwan. All people entering Taiwan should not bring them into the country. Violators will be fined NT$1 million.
