Entry quarantine measures for arrivals experiencing symptoms in the past 14 days to be enhanced starting from November 9

On November 4, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting from November 9, it would enhance entry quarantine measures for travelers coming to Taiwan who have experienced symptoms in the past 14 days. Related details are listed below.
1.    Travelers who have symptoms upon arrival or have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days shall have their specimen collected at the airport or at the hospital after entry; travelers shall stay at a group quarantine facility to wait for their test result. For those who obtain a negative test result, their specimen shall be collected again at least 24 hours after the first specimen collection.
2.    Those who have two negative test results and whose symptoms have improved, after the assessment of the doctor, may return to home or proceed to a quarantine hotel to complete the subsequent home quarantine period.
