Art Bank Taiwan launches online resources in response to COVID restrictions

In compliance with the government's Level 3 pandemic restriction measures, Art Bank Taiwan (藝術銀行) will be closed until June 14. However, it will continue to operate online through its official website, Facebook fan page, YouTube channel, online exhibition and Podcast.

In addition to the detailed introduction of its leasing practices and purchasing mechanisms, Art Bank Taiwan introduces more than 2000 purchased works through its English and Chinese audio guides, and enables members of its official site to build their own collection in a bucket list.

Art Bank Taiwan's YouTube channel contains a series of short films based on real cases of Art Bank's leasing practices, allowing the public to witness the interplay between art and life. It also launched a Podcast of the past exhibition "Life Talking Bar (人生偵探聊聊吧)," which will guide the public to appreciate art and events happening in different corners of the country.

Since last year, Art Bank Taiwan has been collaborating with ARTOGO to create a 3D online exhibition. Its recent exhibitions "If There were Gaps Between Choices (如果選擇之間還有空隙)," "Life Talking Bar (人生偵探聊聊吧)," "Under the Pandemic (在瘟疫的天空下)," "Visible Secrets: Exploring the Secret World of Visual Music (看得見的秘密)" will be available for free public viewing. Visitors will be able to enjoy works close up while listening to the audio guide. The links to the official site and fan page allow visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the artists’ related works.

Art Bank looks forward to accompanying the public through different online platforms in adding an artistic touch to their lives during the pandemic.
