In order to assist the enterprises in New Taipei City for connecting with international standards and establishing a procurement cooperation platform, New Taipei City Government held "2022 New Taipei City International Trade Fair" at Hilton Taipei Sinban on August 23~24. In the fair, they used films to showcase the matching achievements for nine years in a row. This year, they used 5G and AIoT to link up the five negotiation theme, including "Smart Tourism and Retail," "Internet of Vehicles and Electric Vehicles," "Intelligent Manufacturing," "Smart Health," and "Fintech." New Taipei City government invited the international buyers and foreign businessmen to gather together to talk with the industries of New Taipei City, leading the companies to expand and layout their international market, and to create the new economic momentum.
    According to the Economic Development Department, the fair lasted for 2 days and had invited international buyers from Lithuania, Italy, Brazil, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia and SriLanka. This year, through the Global Metaverse Technology Association of the Ministry of Science and ICT, the event invited 5 buyers who had the Procurement needs about Metaverse, Fintech and Smart City and connected with Taiwanese companies, expecting to find partners through this event to lay out the global 5G and Metaverse application market.
