Taoyuan Mayor Chang San-Cheng attended the “2024 Junior Chamber International World Congress (JCI) Launch Press Conference and Investment Promotion Briefing” on the afternoon of March 28. Mayor Chang stated that the 2024 JCI will be held at the Messe Taoyuan. He thanked the Junior Chamber International Chung-Li for successfully bidding for the hosting rights. It is expected that more than 5,000 people from around the world will attend the event in Taiwan. This will be an important international event for Taoyuan and a great honor for the city. The city government will spare no effort, mobilize the relevant departments, and ensure the smooth and successful hosting of the 2024 JCI.
Mayor Chang mentioned many opportunities for exchange and cooperation between the city government and the JCI, especially in the technology industry and youth entrepreneurship policies. He hopes that through this World Congress, Taoyuan’s characteristics can be showcased to the world, and further cooperation can be established with the JCI to enhance Taoyuan’s international visibility.
The 2024 JCI will be held at the Messe Taoyuan from October 29 to November 2, with the theme “Technological Innovation for a Prosperous and Sustainable Future.” The event will include exhibitions, conferences, keynote speeches, workshops, debates, business negotiation meetings, and other activities. It is expected that youth from 120 countries will participate, promoting the city’s international image and industries.
