The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will broadcast the 2024-2025 Taipei 101 New Year’s Eve fireworks live to the world via international satellite starting from 23:55 on December 31, Taipei time. The satellite broadcast information has been provided to download and play for local TV stations and online media through various ROC Taiwan missions around the world. It has also been provided to international media reporters based in Taiwan for broadcast.

At the Cabinet’s weekly meeting Thursday, Premier Cho Jung-tai received briefings from several ministries and agencies regarding version 2.0 of the government’s next-generation anti-fraud strategy guidelines. The premier pointed out that the Fraud Crime Hazard Prevention Act, along with three complementary laws and legal amendments, were enacted in 2024 to comprehensively address the existing problem of fraudulent crime and respond to emerging forms of online and telecom fraud.
At the Cabinet’s weekly meeting Thursday, Premier Cho Jung-tai received a Ministry of Education briefing on the NT$10 billion (US$307.3 million) Youth Overseas Dream Fund program. The premier said the program’s purpose is to encourage young Taiwanese in different fields to engage in international exchanges, expand their global horizons and acquire professional expertise. By helping young people fulfill their dreams, young people will help Taiwan fulfill its dreams.
The third Taiwan-India Dialogue took place Nov. 14 in Taipei City, underscoring the two sides’ commitment to strengthening their partnerships, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
