Human rights museum opens exhibit at Taipei book fair

The National Human Rights Museum has set up a booth at this year’s Taipei International Book Exhibition. On Tuesday the museum said in a press release that the booth will invite readers to pay tribute to Taiwan’s human rights’ history while learning about the future of human rights development.

Recent winners of the National Immigration Agency, MOL’s “8th Dream-Building Project for New Immigrants and Their Children” have been revealed. Su, Cong-Xuan (蘇璁璿) and Liu, Zi-An (劉子安), two second-generation immigrants from Gukeng Township in Yunlin County, were awarded the bonus of the “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development Group” by Nepalese recycled handcrafted cloth bags from their parents’ county.

To make the service hotline consistent and easier for foreigners living in Taiwan to memorize, National Immigration Agency (NIA) has changed it to 1990. The hotline provides instant consultation services in 7 languages for immigrants and foreigners in Taiwan. The service includes Residence Certificate Act, immigration, interpretation, social welfare, medical and health, tax, transportation, etc.
