Ms. Lynn Wu, the Mandarin Chinese teacher at the Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, called on Director-General Charles Li of TECC in Chennai on September 16th, 2018.
Vel Tech is well-known for its renowned educational practices, which has been recognized and endowed with several awards since its Inception as an Engineering College in 1997, then upgraded to Deemed to be University under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 in 2008. It received NAAC A grade Accreditation in 2016.
Taiwan is collaborating with the Vel Tech in offering Mandarin Chinese classes since 2016 which has being empowering the students with basic language foundation to further master the Mandarin Chinese proficiency.
