On the evening of July 9th 2019, Mr. Charles Li, Director-General of TECC in Chennai, and his colleagues, families were invited to watch the puppet show of “The Old Man with His Friends” performed by Taiwanese artist Mr. Shu-ming Ju, as part of the 10th  Little Theatre Festival.

In order to promote the cultural and educational exchanges with South India, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of ROC (Taiwan) and TECC in Chennai jointly sponsor the visit of the renowned puppeteer Mr. Shu-ming Ju of the Association Artistic Creativity and Education Development (AACED) from Taiwan to perform his solo show on three occasions on July 9th 2019 at 11:00am, 6:00 pm and on July 10th 2019 at 11:00am.

Over 550 people participated in the morning session of July 9th and the theatre was full of vibrant and lively interaction with the audience. Interestingly, the story ending was directed and modified on the spot by the children in the audience which won likes of many spectators. This is a story about love, care and sharingand it is a highly artistic show for both children and adults.
