This office thanks for your support, DG Ms Fiona Fan on May 17 stressed that Taiwan continues to push for its participation in the WHA, but we still face immense challenges. Due to its successive measures in containing the spread of #COVID19, Taiwan has received strong support for its bid this year.

Today, Ms Fan expressed Taiwan government’s disappointment that Taiwan hasn’t received invitation to this year’s WHA, diseases knows no border, neither should the global pandemic prevention network. Taiwan should not be excluded from the WHO.
