In his address, Representative Liang said that he conceived the networking dinner as a way to engage and connect with the global art community congregating in Singapore for Art Stage Singapore 2018, in line with Taiwan’s people-centric New Southbound Policy. During the evening, Representative Liang also took the opportunity to introduce Taiwan’s Art Bank program and showed the guests the artistic creations of young Taiwanese artists on display at his residence.   Both Mr. Stephen Leong Chun Hong, President of the Federation of Art Societies Singapore and Ms. Diane Zhang-Goldberg, who sits on the Board of Directors of the French Musée Guimet, thanked Representative Liang for his initiative in creating an excellent platform to foster cultural exchange and to facilitate networking and partnerships within the arts.
