In accordance with the notice from the Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will resume visa-exempt treatment for all eligible countries September 29!
Visa-exempt treatment for citizens of all eligible countries will be reinstated for purposes including engaging in tourism, visiting friends or relatives, attending social events, conducting business, attending exhibitions, and engaging in fact-finding missions or international exchanges. Only those who intend to engage in activities that, according to the laws and regulations of relevant agencies, do require a permit must still obtain such a permit.
