This year's APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting (AELM), hosted by Thailand, concluded at noon on November 19 (Taipei time). Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) founder and Leader's Representative Dr. Morris Chang participated in the full meeting and conveyed Taiwan's ideas and positions, successfully completing his mission for the AELM.

Acting on behalf of President Tsai Ing-wen, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. founder Morris Chang attended the 29th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) in Bangkok, Thailand. He held bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at 16:40 on November 18 local time (Taiwan time 17:40) to exchange views on a wide range of issues of common concern.

An event aimed at enhancing the digital capacity of female and young entrepreneurs under the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum kicked off Nov. 16 in Taipei City, with representatives from 17 member states joining discussions to address related challenges.

For the sake of public safety on food, the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration of Ministry of Health and Welfare (TFDA) hosts “2022 APEC Online Communication Platform for Testing Techniques for Food- Pesticide Residue Workshop” virtually on September 13th.
