Director-General Charles Li called on Minister for School Education, Tamil Nadu Government, KA Sengottaiyan on the morning of 7 thMay 2018, to discuss about the ideas of partnership with The Anna Centenary Library, Chennai. Director-General Charles Li was also invited To visit the library; he was deeply impressed by the grand scale, abundant books, fully equipped halls and their facilities. To strengthen the collections of books in the library, Director- General Charles Li distinguished presented 12 issues of Taiwan Panorama magazine.

The Anna Centenary Library (ACL), a state-of the-art library was inaugurated on September 15, 2010 on the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr. CN Annadurai. It is the largest library in South Asia. The total area of ​​the eight storey building is 375,000 square feet and at present, it hosts five lakhs books covering wide range of subjects to serve the information needs of the public, academic and corporate community. It has an average Of 2,000 Daily visitors to the library to read or participate in activities.
