Office Activities
1. Director-General Charles Li was invited to attend the 13th International Machine Tools Exhibition; it is one of the biggest exhibitions on machine tools organized in Chennai Trade Center from 21st -25th June 2018. The main aim of the event is to bring out the latest machine tools technology available in different parts of the world with emphasis on Energy Saving Solutions, Improving Productivity and Industrial Automation.   2018-06-21

2. Director- General, Charles Li and the staff members of Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in Chennai conducted a Yoga session in the office on 21st June 2018 to mark the International Yoga day and show their support to Prime Minister Modi’s initiative to promote Yoga.   2018-06-21

4. Director-General Mr. Charles Li together with the APO COE GP Team on the afternoon of June 8, 2018 called upon Mr. Phanindra Reddy, the Principal Secretary of Handlooms, handicrafts, textiles and Khadi Department, and Mr. Harmander Singh, the Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department respectively to further explore business and investment opportunity for Taiwanese business community on waste water gathering, treatment and reuse especially for textile industry in Tamil Nadu.   2018-06-09

5. In order to ensure the active support for Taiwan’s participation in WHO related activities, Director- General Charles Li called on Hon. Dr. C. Vijaya Baskar, Minister of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare of Tamil Nadu, India, to discuss issues of mutual interest and exchange views on strengthening medical cooperation between Taiwan and Tamil Nadu, and sharing the experience of technology and medical practices.   2018-05-28
