1. Considering the Indian government is promoting the electric cars and mortorcycles, the Director-General Charles Li of TECC in Chennai visited Gogoro, the world-renowned Taiwanese smart 2-wheeler company, to understand the models and the specifications of their electric motorcycles, their smart batteries and the states of operation of “Gogoro Energy Network", which is world’s fastest, cleanest, biggest and the most efficient energy network and could be a reference for the related industries in India and Taiwanese company to build up relationship of collaboration.   2018-08-19

2. Since agriculture has been one of the most important sectors of India’s economy, the Director-General Charles Li of TECC in Chennai visited the YesHealth iFarm in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, to learn the lessons and technologies of one of the most advanced Smart Agriculture models in Taiwan and to explore feasibility for joint venture with interested partners in south Indian states.   2018-08-18

3. In order to facilitate and promote Indian film industry to choose Taiwan as a destination for shooting films and to attract Indian movie fans for sightseeing, a scene inspection delegation of the “Film Federation of India" led by its Vice Chairman Mr. Ravi Kottarakara, was organized by TECC in Chennai at the invitation os the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visit Taiwan from August 14th to 20th. 2. Steven Wang Zhi Min, from SRM institute of Science and Technology, who is also a recipient of 2018 Taiwan Scholarship, is about to leave for Taiwan this September and will study in National Tsing-Hua University for Master degree.
