An online ceremony for food and agricultural education cooperation between Mitagri Co., Ltd. and Chinese Taipei School Kuala Lumpur was launched on October 31st, 2022, to promote the food and agricultural education program overseas.

In her remarks, Deputy Representative Lien stated that Taiwan has outstanding agricultural performance. The food and agricultural education that is promoted by the Council of Agriculture, Taiwan, is the foundation of agricultural development and is considered the best agricultural marketing. By promoting and developing food and agricultural education in the school, it will cultivate students' dietary knowledge, enhance linkages between diet, environment, and agriculture, and strengthen consumers’ support for Taiwan agriculture and agricultural products. Through cooperation with Mitagri Co., Ltd., the Chinese Taipei School KL, students can not only build good memories of Taiwan's gourmet from an early age but also have a deeper understanding of Taiwan's agriculture. The cooperation program will supply the Chinese Taipei School KL with Taiwan local agricultural products and expand the imports of fruits or ingredients to Malaysia and share them with the locals.

The attendees included Ms. Yu-Ping Lien, Deputy Representative of TECO in Malaysia, Deputy Minister Dr. Ching-Cheng Huang, Council of Agriculture, Dr. Chung-Hsiu Hung, the Chairman of Mitagri Co., Ltd., Dr. Nicole Lee Yen-Yi, the Director-General of the Department of International and Cross-strait Education of Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, Mr. Tu Shu Yao, the Chairperson of the school board, Ms. Cheng Ya Fen, the Principal of the school, Mr. Ma Oon Kwong, the Director of PWO Industries Sdn. Bhd, Mr. Bob Chuang, the secretary of Taipei Investors´ Association in Penang and, and Ms. Charlin Chang, Director of Education Division of TECO in Malaysia.
