The Taipei Masskara Festival took the form of a parade of some 1,200 people from St. Christopher's Church, along Zhongshan North Road, and Nong'an and Shuangcheng streets, to Qingguang park.

The annual Muslim festival Eid al-Fitr will not be held as scheduled in Taipei this May, in an effort to avoid large gatherings amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, the city government said Thursday. The religious event, also known as the Festival of Breaking the Fast, is usually celebrated by tens of thousands of Muslims in Taiwan each year and was scheduled for May 24 in Taipei.
Tainan City Government and world-leading travel platform Klook officially kicked off bilateral collaborations on March 5 with a MOU signed by Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-che and Klook's head of marketing in Taiwan Sam Lin.
