Taiwan remained at Tier 1 for the 15th consecutive year in the U.S. Department of State’s 2024 Trafficking in Persons Report, reflecting global recognition of the government’s efforts to protect human rights, according to the Ministry of the Interior June 25.

Both platform providers committed to cooperating with the proposed “Anti-Fraud Crime Prevention Act” currently under review in the Legislative Yuan. Hosted by the New Taipei City Government in association with the ICF (Intelligent Community Forum) with the theme of “AI: The Innovation Accelerator,” the forum will explore how artificial intelligence has contributed to economic growth, sustainability, and human welfare. The program will also bring in the shortlist for ICF Top7 Global Cities Announcement of the Year.
