“52Hz, I Love You” Get Positive Response in Malaysia

Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang as well as Deputy Representative and Mrs. Steven Tai attended the Singapore debut performance of Cloud Gate 2 at the Huayi – Chinese Festival of Arts 2017 at the Esplanade on 7 February 2017. Led by its Artistic Director Ms. Cheng Tsung-lung, Cloud Gate 2 presented three riveting dance pieces entitled “Wicked Fish”, “The Wall” and “Beckoning”.

Chinese Taipei International Team arrived in Ho Chi Minh City the 12th Feb. to take part to the Robot Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2017, and was welcomed by the Deputy Director General Mrs. Chang along with the Taiwanese groups.

Teen Diplomatic Envoy 2017 visited Auckland Council

Chin Fei Feng Marionette Theatre Troupe, one of Taiwan’s famous troupes, accompanied by Prof. Kuang-Sheng Shih, National Taiwan University of Arts, was invited to perform in the 15th Ishara International Puppet Festival 2017. 10 TECC officers with family members attended the opening performance in the Indian Habitat Centre on Feb. 3, 2017. Chinese Taipei Cycling National Team participated in the 37th Senior & 24th Junior Asian Track Cycling Championships held in New Delhi, India on Feb. 6 to10, 2017. On Feb. 8, Amb. Tien of Taipei Economic and Cultural Center(TECC) in India and Dr. Chen, Director of Science & Technology Division in TECC in India, went to Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex with fruit to cheer up the Chinese Taipei Cycling National Team. Till Feb. 9, the Team had won 5 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.

Chennai St. Britto’s Academy will teach basic Mandarin class from mid February 2017, Director General Charles Li visited the Academy to discuss with the teachers about the courses and materials on 10th Feb 2017.

As a token of appreciation for their service as culture ambassadors of Taiwan culture, Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang hosted the 23-member delegation led by Professor Man-li Wu, Head of Hwa Kang Dance Troupe of the Chinese Culture University to a dinner on 25 January 2017.  During the dinner, Representative Liang urged the performers at the 2017 River Hongbao Festival to seize this opportunity to broaden their horizons and experience Singapore's multicultural diversity.

Director General Charles Li was invited by the founder of St. Britto's Group Institutions, Mrs. Vimala Britto,  to launch the first Chinese teaching program at St. Britto's Academy in Chennai on 1st Feburary 2017.

At the invitation of Dr. Pang Kong Choi, President of the Alumni of Taiwan Universities & Colleges (ATUC), Deputy Representative and Mrs. Steven Tai attended its Chinese New Year gathering in Chinatown on 22 January 2017.
