Taipei, June 11 (CNA) Athletes competing in the upcoming Taipei Universiade will be treated to Taiwanese fried chicken, Mediterranean lamb chop, Indian rogan josh, Halal food and, of course, vegetarian meals, according to menus made available to the media Sunday.

Flights between these two destinations have seen surging thanks to the Taiwanese government's introduction of its New Southbound Policy. Under the policy aimed at advancing ties with Southeast as well as South Asian countries, Thai visitors have been able to enter Taiwan without visas since last August.

Ms. Zoe Tsou, Mandarin teacher from “Taiwan Education Center” of SRM university teaches the basic Business Chinese for the Indian employees. This Chinese learning program is designed especially for the Lotus Footwear Indian employees.
