Taiwan firm to seek FDA new drug approval for enterovirus vaccine

Medigen Vaccine Biologics Corp. said Sunday it will soon apply to the Food and Drug Administration in Taiwan and other countries for new drug approval for its enterovirus 71 (EV71) vaccine, as it has successfully completed its Phase III clinical trials.

Taiwan and Guatemala Sign an Arrangement for Mutual Recognition of AEO to Facilitate Bilateral Trade

The Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) between Taiwan and Guatemala was signed on May 28, 2021. Through the Arrangement, the customs administrations of Taiwan and Guatemala are able to mutually recognize each other’s AEO programs. Exporters that are awarded AEO status from Taiwan and Guatemala can both enjoy facilitated customs clearances at their borders.
