At the Taiwan-Singapore Film Industry Exchange organized by the Ministry of Culture on 17 July 2017, Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang spoke about Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy in his opening remarks, and encouraged collaboration between film industry professionals from Taiwan and Singapore.

The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship AVC Qualification Tournament was held at the AIS Arena Canberra, from 12th to 16th July 2017. The perfect skills and the sportsmanship of the Chinese Taipei team has left us a great impression!

Director General Mr. Liang witnessed the signing of Memorandum of Cooperation between the Principal of Taiwan University system Ching-Ray Chang and the Principal of the National Ho Chi Minh University System Dat the 7th July.

On 13 July 2017, 60 high school students on the R.O.C. - Singapore Student Exchange Program who were accompanied by their teachers and a school inspector of Taipei City’s Department of Education called on Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang.

Representative Francis Liang Kuo-Hsin presented the 2017 Taiwan Scholarship to five Singaporean recipients, and the Huayu (Mandarin) Enrichment Scholarship to another three Singaporean recipients at a ceremony held at the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore on 7 July 2017.
