														Yuejin Lantern Festival is set to kick off Feb. 10 in southern Taiwan’s Tainan City, spotlighting the rich history and cultural vitality of historic Yuejin port through more than 40 innovative and eye-catching light installations by local and foreign talents.
														The 2018 Taiwan Lantern Festival will be held in Chiayi in March 2~11, 2018. The lanterns will be officially turned on at the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum on March 2, the day of the Lantern Festival. 														In mid-December every year, runners take to the streets of Taiwan’s capital for the Taipei Marathon. The race was launched more than 30 years ago as the first event of its kind in the country. Previously supported by ING Life Taiwan and now sponsored by Fubon Life, it has proven a great success, attracting a record high of about 100,000 participants in 2014.
