Cabinet-level Ocean Affairs Council Minister Kuan Bi-ling said June 23 that the agency is committed to expanding exchanges with partners while empowering Taiwan’s younger generation to engage in global ocean governance.

A Global Cooperation and Training Framework workshop on disaster prevention and sustainable operations coordinated by the National Science and Technology Council and the Japan Taiwan Exchange Association is underway through June 25, highlighting commitment to forging a safe and resilient society.

The 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting will take place from June 29 to July 4, 2025 in Lindau, Germany. More than 630 young scientists from 84 countries have been invited to attend and engage in discussions with approximately 35 Nobel Laureates. Among them, three outstanding young scholars from Taiwan have been selected through a rigorous international process to represent the country at the event.
