The first Taiwan International Austronesian Art Triennial (TIAAT) exhibition organized by the Indigenous Peoples’ Cultural Development Center and guided by the Council of Indigenous Peoples and the Ministry of Culture, opened today at the Taiwan Indigenous Culture Park. The Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) in India held an award ceremony on August 4, 2023 to present Taiwan Scholarships or Huayu Enrichment Scholarships to 129 students from countries in south Asia. Most of the recipients are from many states of India but there were also recipients from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka who received scholarships to study for a degree in Taiwan.
