The 2023-24 Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Recipients Orientation and Welcome Party, a vibrant event welcoming the new academic year, was held on November 10th at the Chang Yung-Fa Foundation. The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and diplomats from various countries came together to welcome the new scholarship recipients who have chosen Taiwan for their studies.

An international conference on advancing the rights of Indigenous peoples was held Dec. 9 in New Taipei City by the Council of Indigenous Peoples as part of the organization’s 27th anniversary celebrations.

A higher education delegation from India, led by Dr. Gundurao Sitharam Thallak, Chairman of the All India Council of Technical Education, visited Taiwan in early September, to strengthen educational ties with universities in Taiwan.
