Foreign Minister Wu gives Sky News Australia interview

CECC approves selective entry of foreign migrant workers while strict border control measures remain in place; R.O.C. (Taiwan) overseas missions to process related visa applications

Considering that the domestic COVID-19 situation has stabilized, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has decided to allow the selective entry of foreign migrant workers starting November 11, 2021, to help address industry and care needs while continuing to ensure antipandemic measures are implemented.

Nationwide epidemic alert to remain at Level 2 from November 16 to November 29; CECC makes adjustments to related measures and urges public to continue following epidemic prevention and control measures

As the pandemic has continued to subside and the situation is under control in Taiwan, after discussions with relevant agencies and assessments, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced on November 11 that it will maintain the Level 2 epidemic alert, effective from November 16 to November 29. Details about adjustments to related regulations and general principles are listed below.
