The Tourism Administration, MOTC, is launching a free “Taiwan Lantern Festival limited-time itinerary” to attract foreign transit passengers to explore Taiwan and enjoy the lanterns of the Taiwan Lantern Festival

The 2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival will be held in Taoyuan City from February 12-23. It has been nine years since the Lantern Festival was last held in Taoyuan. As the site of this year's festival is quite close to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, the Tourism Administration has specially launched a limited itinerary that will help transit tourists visit the festival.
