The Trade and Labor Committee Meeting under the Agreement between New Zealand and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu on Economic Cooperation (ANZTEC) was staged Aug. 6 via videoconference from Taipei City and Wellington, the Ministry of Labor said.

World Bird Fair 2025 Taiwan opens in Taichung on September 20th, with a bird costume show as a warm-up event

World Bird Fair 2025 Taiwan, hosted by the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) and organized by the Tri-mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters (NSAH) will be held in Taichung from September 20-21. On July 14th the Tri-mountain NSAH held a press conference at the Botanical Garden of the National Museum of Natural Science (NMNS). They invited the public to attend the bird fair on September 20-21, which will be held at Taichung Civic Square.

The 2025 10th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Food Security Ministerial Meeting (FSMM) was held in Incheon, Korea on August 10. During the FSMM, Deputy Minister Hu shared how Taiwan's AI-driven strategies are tackling critical challenges like climate change, labor shortages, and supply chain disruptions.

George Town Festival in Malaysia to feature Taiwan jazz musicians, dance group

The Taipei Cultural Center in New York, in collaboration with the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF), is hosting the Taiwan Uncut screening program from July 12 to 28. At the festival, the NYAFF presented the Best from the East Award to Vivian Sung (宋芸樺), lead actress of the film “The Secret House (無人知曉的家).”
