President Tsai Ing-wen met with a delegation led by European Parliament-Taiwan Friendship Group Chair Michael Gahler on the afternoon of October 29. She thanked Chair Gahler for leading the Chairs of the French, British, and German Taiwan Parliamentary Friendship Groups to establish the inter-parliamentary Formosa Club, and for holding a reception on October 16 at the European Parliament to celebrate its establishment.

President Tsai Ing-wen attended a dinner banquet for the Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA on the evening of October 28. With the government and the sports and business communities joining forces in support of international tournaments and the Golf Association of the Republic of China's six-year plan, Taiwan will continue to shine in the international golf scene, she said.

On the morning of October 25, President Tsai Ing-wen met with Marshall Islands President Hilda C. Heine and witnessed the signing of an economic cooperation agreement between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
