President Tsai Ing-wen met with the winners of the 22nd Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation Fervent Global Love of Lives Medals on the afternoon of September 27. She also thanked all the winners for showing us that no matter what challenges we face in life, we all have limitless potential. She expressed hope that the awards would allow us to spread the winners' powerful stories across the globe.

President Tsai Ing-wen met with a delegation from Denmark's Export Kredit Fonden (EKF) on the morning of September 25. The president stated that Denmark is a major player in wind energy, and we hope to learn from Denmark's experience to develop our green energy industry and turn Taiwan into an industry cluster for offshore wind energy technology in Asia.

President Tsai Ing-wen met with a delegation led by Chairman Jean-Francois Cesarini of the French National Assembly's France-Taiwan Parliamentary Friendship Group on the morning of September 23. The president stated that Taiwan and France continue to deepen cooperation in many areas including offshore wind power, environmental protection, culture, economics, and military affairs, and that we have a strong foundation for continued growth in bilateral relations.

President Tsai Ing-wen said Sept. 18 that Taiwan will continue working to build a welcoming environment for Muslims, spotlighting government efforts to strengthen ties with the Islamic world.

On the morning of September 19, President Tsai Ing-wen met with directors and supervisors from Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) and the Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association (TSIA), as well as other top executives of semiconductor firms from home and abroad. The president stated that last year, the output value of our semiconductor industry reached NT$2.6 trillion, for an annual growth of 6.4 percent.

President Tsai Ing-wen attended a reception for the 198th anniversary of the independence of Central America on the evening of September 17. She stated that China has used a variety of means to suppress our international space, but Taiwan's sincerity towards our friends remains unchanged, as does our position regarding maintaining the peaceful and prosperous status quo in the Asia-Pacific region.

President Tsai Ing-wen attended the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare on the evening of September 18. She stated that Taiwan is more than willing to share our experiences with the rest of the world regarding our National Health Insurance, hospital accreditation system, patient safety reporting network, and community-based Long-term Care 2.0 Plan.
