Taiwan’s landmark Taipei 101 will ring in the new year with 16,000 fireworks and a light show to welcome 2023 with an impressive display of color, light and sound.
The Tainan City Government launched the Friendship Box Reading Program to facilitate interactions with other cities and promote the beauty of Tainan. In the past four years, the program has hosted over 170 events with participating cities from Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania. The objective is to promote more interactions between Tainan and the world as the city prepares to commemorate its 400th anniversary.
Tainan City and the City of Gold Coast officially became sister cities in October 1982. To celebrate the 40 years of cherished relationship, Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-che and City of Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate each recorded videos to convey their best wishes to the other city. On 10/28(Fri), New Taipei City went to Singapore to participate in the 2022 ICT Award Ceremony held by ASOCIO.
