Think tanks sign MOU to collaborate on Taiwan-India policy

The Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF) said Tuesday that it would begin writing semiannual policy papers on Taiwan-India relations in collaboration with the New Dehli-based Observer Research Foundation (ORF), under a wide-ranging Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed Monday.

The 50th National Book Fair and the 20th Bangkok International Book Fair were held at the Bang Sue Grand Station from Mar. 26 to Apr. 6. As part of the book fair, the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Thailand hosted an event titled “Taiwan-Thailand Picture Book Exchange 2022: TTpicbook 2022.”

13th Taiwan International Documentary Festival kicks off with 188 film screenings

The 13th edition of the Taiwan International Documentary Festival (TIDF) kicked off on May 6 at the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute (TFAI). For its opening film, the festival held the world premiere screening of director Hung Chun-hsiu’s (洪淳修) latest work “Remember Me(金門留念).”

Taiwanese films to be screened at Singapore Chinese Film Festival

22 Taiwanese films, shorts and documentaries will come under the spotlight at the annual Singapore Chinese Film Festival (SCFF), which is returning this year from April 29 through May 8. SCFF 2022 will be a mixed format of in-cinema and virtual events with a total of 52 titles from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore.
