Taiwan-based China Airlines and EVA Air were among 25 airlines which received the Resilience Award at the annual Changi Airlines Awards on Wednesday for their continued operations at the Singaporean air hub.

School-level International Education Program between India and Taiwan Launched

Taiwan inaugurated the International Education Programme 2.0 for Primary and Secondary Schools with Indian partners with a signing ceremony at Mount Abu Public School in Rohini, New Delhi on March 24, 2022, conducted by the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India. 26 principals in India attended the ceremony in person, while 28 principals from Taiwan joined them online.

TECO Education Division Explores School Cooperation with Sarawak in East Malaysia and Promotes Study in Taiwan

The Education Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia visited Sarawak in East Malaysia from March 19 to 21, 2022 to promote study in Taiwan. During the visit they met with the mayor of Miri City, Pei Min Middle School educators, representatives of Riam Road Secondary School and local education groups and discussed school education cooperation.

In line with the global trend of integration and preservation of cultural assets and museums, the Bureau of Cultural Heritage (BOCH) organized a forum titled “LINKING: The Exchange Forum for International Organization of Cultural Preservation (鏈結:文化保存國際組織交流論壇)” on April 15 and 16, inviting members of relevant organizations as well as experts who actively participated in International Non-governmental Organizations (iNGO) in recent years to share their professional knowledge and experience.

ITRI and Eight Companies from Taiwan Receive Honor of Top 100 Global Innovators

Nine Top 100 Global Innovators from Taiwan including several-time winners ITRI, Foxconn, MediaTek, Quanta, and TSMC as well as new entrants AU Optronics, Delta Electronics, Wistron, and RealTek were presented the award by Clarivate in Taipei on April 20. Supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, ITRI was on the list for the fifth consecutive year and sixth time overall, thanks to its technical distinctiveness, success, influence, globalization and volume of patents.
