Showcase of original Taiwanese VR works in Bangkok receives positive remarks

“WITHIN Taiwan’s Selected VR Works (WITHIN臺灣VR作品選集),” a touring exhibition co-organized by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, Taiwan’s Digital Art Foundation and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, will showcase Taiwanese VR works in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 15 through July 17.

Organized by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia and curated by the INXO Arts and Culture Foundation, Tea Philo (哲學茶席) invited Taiwanese independent curator Nobuo Takamori (高森信男) to give a talk online in English under the theme of “Phantasmapolis: Toward Asian Arts Futurism (未至之城:邁向亞洲藝術未來主義).”

Taiwan Signs MoU with India to Bolster IPR Cooperation

The Taiwan-India MoU on Intellectual Property Rights was signed by Representative Baushuan Ger of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India and Director General Gourangalal Das of the Indian Taipei Association at the High Level India Taiwan Business Roundtable on May 18, 2022. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Vice Minister Chuan-Neng Lin of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Director General Shu-Min Hong of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office.

Ocean Challenge 2022 expands into an international STEM competition: grant up to NTD 100,000 awarding the best proposal winner

The Ocean Affairs Council (OAC) and the American Institute in Taiwan Kaohsiung Branch Office (AIT/K) co-hosted the Ocean Challenge 2022 virtual event on June 1 and 2. This youth-oriented event expanded into an international competition for the first time this year, appealing to quite a number of school teams in the Indo-Pacific region, such as Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia to submit their action proposals.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has designated 2022 the year of “Health for Peace, Peace for Health”. To echo this theme, aside from co-hosting a forum on Increasing Accessibility to Health Care in Emergency Contexts with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the TaiwanICDF has also produced a video titled “One with the world, Taiwan responds!”.

Taiwan to host 2025 WorldSkills Asia competition

Taiwan has been selected to host the 2025 WorldSkills Asia competition, an international tournament promoting vocational skills education.
