A selection of essays focusing on the practice of curating in Southeast Asia, “SouthEastAsia: Spaces of the Curatorial (東南亞:策展空間)” - planned and translated by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA) and produced by the ARTouch - had its press conference for the publication at the Mayor's Residence Art Salon on Sep. 27.

PNC Annual Conference to Be Held Virtually September 28 – Experts from Over 10 Countries Explore Sustainable Digital Heritage

As the global pandemic has not yet ended, this year’s international Pacific Neighborhood Consortium Annual Conference and Joint Meetings (PNC 2021) will be held for the first time as an online virtual conference, from September 28 to 30, 2021. PNC 2021 will be hosted by Academia Sinica. The conference theme will be “Sustainable Digital Heritage.” It will feature 3 keynote speeches from world-class experts, and 17 conference presentation sessions.

2022 Taiwan int’l documentary festival open for entries

Organized by the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute, the 13th edition of Taiwan International Documentary Festival (TIDF) will run from 6 to 15 May 2022. Adopting ‘Re-encounter Reality’ as its core philosophy, TIDF showcases documentary films that reflect contemporary culture and challenge boundaries.

The Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), and Ministry of Science and Technology established the Outstanding Graduate Student Awards for graduating Recipients of Taiwan Scholarships and Huayu Enrichment Scholarships to recognize the on-campus and off-campus achievements and contributions of particularly outstanding students, during their stay in Taiwan.
