APEC Healthcare Webinar Focuses on Aging Population, Pandemic, and AI Solutions for Smart Medical Care

Global aging populations and the spread of COVID-19 have accelerated the development of the zero-touch economy and industrial digital transformation. In line with the priorities of APEC 2021, Chinese Taipei proposed an APEC Project “Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Recommendation on Digital Transformation for Healthcare Ecosystem”.

The workshop brings together scholars and experts from France, Belgium, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, and Taiwan to exchange insights and facilitate further collaboration.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in India, the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is continuing to cooperate with Swiss-based international non-governmental organization, Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh), to implement the Digital Health Innovation for COVID-19 Response in India (Phase 2) project, which officially started on July 16, 2021.
