CORONAVIRUS/All tests negative in contact tracing of two exported COVID-19 cases: CECC

A total of 17 people, identified as contacts of two COVID-19 patients who were recent travelers from Taiwan, have all tested negative for the disease, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) said Saturday. The contract tracing and testing was done by the CECC after two people who traveled recently from Taiwan to China and Vietnam, respectively, were confirmed to have COVID-19, Chuang said.

A Vietnamese migrant worker, who recently tested positive for COVID-19 in his home country after leaving Taiwan, was likely infected while he was in quarantine there, Vietnam health authorities told Taiwan on Wednesday.
