MOC, Biennale of Sydney ink pact supporting Taiwan indigenous artist

The Ministry of Culture and the Biennale of Sydney signed a memorandum of understanding in support of Taiwan indigenous artist Aluaiy Kaumakan’s participation in the Australian event next year, underscoring the government efforts to strengthen cultural exchanges with the New Southbound Policy partner country.

The 2021 Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan is held from Dec. 2nd to Dec. 5th in Nangang International Exhibition Center, Hall 1. Organized by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute with the cooperation of Chaîne de Papier, France, the 2021/22 Biennial International Paper Fibre Art is being jointly exhibited at the NTCRI’s Craft Hall and Craft Design Hall. Jan Fairbairn Edwards from France and Taiwanese fiber artist Yang Wei-lin (楊偉林) have been invited to serve as the exhibition’s curators under the proposed theme “Transfiguration.”
