Taiwan named top destination for expats by InterNations

Taiwan is ranked the best destination in the world for expatriates for the third time in a row, according to the Expat Insider 2021 Survey released May 18 by Munich-based InterNations, the largest global network for people living abroad.

MOC launches ‘Museum Online Exhibitions’ in celebration of International Museum Day

The Ministry of Culture (MOC), collaborating with the Ministry of Education, the National Palace Museum (NPM), and the Chinese Association of Museums (CAM), launched a web page, “Museum Online Exhibitions,” which brings together online exhibitions of more than 40 museums and cultural centers across the country, on occasion of the International Museum Day on May 18.

The World Health Organization has designated 2021 the International Year of Health and Care Workers, and launched a year-long campaign under the theme “Protect. Invest. Together.” In order to echo this theme and continue expanding Taiwan’s visibility in the global public health sector, the TaiwanICDF will host the Webinar on Strengthening the Public Health System for Maintaining Essential Health Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic on May 25, 2021 at 19:00 Taipei Time/13:00 Geneva Time.

2021 Singapore Chinese Film Festival invites Taiwanese directors share their experience in an online lecture on May 9

According to SUSS, the festival is Co-organized by SUSS and Singapore Film Society. This year’s Singapore Chinese Film Festival (SCFF2021) will feature 45 films including a specially curated Debut Classics segment, and two “live” online panel discussions. SCFF2021 will feature a mix of physical and online screenings, and English subtitles are provided for almost all of the films.
