On 12 December 2017, Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang, graced the 65th Anniversary Dinner cum 27th “Respect the Elderly Celebration” of the Singapore Gnoh Kung Association as the guest of honor. Over 200 persons, including the Association’s board and members, officials from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore, and seniors accompanied by their families attended the event.
In his dinner address at the celebration, Representative Liang commended Singapore Gnoh Kung Association’s achievements in its history of 65 years. The Association has played an important role in community bonding, and its pioneer and current members have made significant contributions towards the development of Singapore. Representative Liang also highlighted the Association’s “Respect the Elderly Celebration” as a profoundly meaningful activity.
In the address by Chairman Lee Chee Wan of the Singapore Gnoh Kung Association, he expressed his thanks to Representative Liang and all the committee members. He also voiced his hope that more young people would come into its fold as the Association turns 65 this year.
